| This is a kit using all genuine parts for installing a reversing camera in your W117 CLA class vehicle. Your vehicle MUST have COMAND to install this, or you must replace the Audio-20 with one with a reverse camera video input. If your car is the version with NTG5, then as long as you have COMAND or the Audio-20 with SD-CARD navigation, then this kit will be work. This is a special order item as looms differ for different cars, so please supply your VIN with the order. Your car MUST have one of the following, or it is not possible to retrofit without replacing the ignition switch and adding various other expensive parts : - 7-Speed Automatic (option 429), Blind Spot Assistant (option 234), Tyre Pressure full monitoring (option 475), Automatic Lane Recognition (476), Traffic Sign Recognition (513), Xenon or ILS headlamps (614/615/618/621/622) Installation involves removing the boot trim panels, the rear door panel, the rear seat, and running the video wire to the front of the rear of the COMAND/AUDIO unit on the right side of the car and the camera-flap controller and wiring along the left hand side of the vehicle, then having the COMAND/AUDIO coded for Reversing Camera so that it selects the reversing camera when you select reverse and opens the camera cover flap. The camera will need to be configured with Star Diagnosis to generate the reversing lines.
