| This is a kit using all genuine parts for installing a reversing camera in your Mercedes GL. This kit is for cars with Comand and without TV. If your vehicle is before MY2007 you will need additional parts. If your car has TV, please purchase the version for cars with TV. Not suitable for cars with Audio-20 or Audio-50 Please contact us if you want a kit for a US or Canadian vehicle when ordering please specify the full VIN number of the vehicle. Cars with NTG2.5 Hard Disk based COMAND can be coded to have lines displayed on the reverse camera image. For cars before MY2007 please look at the rear door handle to ensure there is a cut out for the camera. If there is none you will have to order a new handle and on some vehicles cut a hole behind it for the camera/wiring to pass through. Installation involves removing some of the left and right hand side boot trim panels, the rear door panel and running the video wire to the front of the rear of the COMAND unit, then having the COMAND coded for Reversing Camera so that it selects the reversing camera when you select reverse. Please note that the photo may not show the exact wiring loom we supply and excludes some other fitting parts & instructions that we supply. Please check that your COMAND unit has the green fakra video connector on the rear (not needed for USA/Canada vehicles).
