| Mercedes iPod kit - This is the genuine Mercedes iPod kit for the new C class, GLK, E Class and E Class Coupe - This iPod kit takes about an hour to install, and allows you to use your iPod with the steering wheels on your car. Track, playlist and other information is displayed on the instrument cluster display. The iPod tucks nicely away in the glovebox can can be held in place with the optional iPod cradle (dependant on iPod type). This is NOT suitable for NTG4.5 cars - i.e. COMAND or Audio-20 WITH USB ports in the armrest glovebox. It is therefore suitable for all W204 before the MY2012 facelift, all Audio-20 without the NAVI button, and COMAND units with a PCMCIA slot (but not a SD card slot) If you have the Media Interface option, do not install this kit, just purchase the Media Interface lead set. You should consider purchasing the iPod holder/cradle as-well, it just helps protect your iPod/iPhone in the car. |
