For Model Year 2012 (deliveries started March/April 2011) the In Car enterntainment was completedly updated to technology Mercedes call NTG4.5.
The display screen is now fixed and larger and always visible.
The base system (Audio-20) supports an 'integrated' Becker Map Pilot system. UK cars come pre-wired for this system, and the wiring can be fitted to non pre-wired cars. The Map Pilot plugs in in the glovebox to provide high quality navigation and is removed from the car and plugged into a PC for updates.
The full colour satnav system (COMAND) now has an online feature (called Comand Online) which allows access to the Web via a mobile phone that is paired with the COMAND system.
