This is a kit using all genuine parts for installing a reversing camera in your new shape (2012 onward) W166 GLE. The vehicle must have the COMAND Online navigation system, or Audio-20 with Garmin SD navigation. Please supply your VIN with the order so we can supply the correct wiring harness - this is a special order product as we have to order the correct parts for your vehicle. Installation involves removing some of the boot trim panels, the rear door panel and running the video wire to the front of the rear of the COMAND unit and the wiring for the Camera flap controller. The car will then need coding at Mercedes Benz to enable the camera system and calibrate it. Please also note that this is a special order item and may take a few days extra to deliver. Please also note that this is optimised for Left Hand Drive vehicles and if you are installing in RHD vehicle you must be careful about how you route the CAN bus cable as it has to reach the passenger footwell CANbus distributors Please tell us your VIN (chassis number) on the comments form when ordering so we can supply the correct looms.
