This is an iPod kit with Bluetooth phone interface for the newer MOST based cars which allows control of the iPod and phone from the head unit display. This includes Mercedes from about 2004-2010, and various Audi, Porsche and BMW systems.
For some vehicles an optional DAB adapter can be added also.
