This disk is the NTG1 navigation disk for Africa & Middle East part number A211 827 30 65. This version (V8.0, 2010) is the latest available (as of July 2013). This is a special order part that cannot be returned/cancelled once ordered and will take a few days to come into stock before we can dispatch it It is only suitable for cars where the map DVD is held in the Navigation DVD drive in the boot (trunk) of the car (i.e NTG1) Version 8.0 Highlights: - Includes the following countries: Bahrain, Botswana, Kuwait, Lesotho, Namibia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Swaziland and the United Arab Emirates. The DVD is packed with navigation data for eleven countries in Africa and the Middle East, with major and minor roads, towns, villages and plenty of points of interest: Bahrain, Botswana, Kuwait, Lesotho, Namibia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Swaziland and the United Arab Emirates. - 6 countries already have 100% coverage! Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and, from this version, South Africa, already have 100% coverage. The navigation data on the 2010 version covers over 685,000 kilometres of road. Prime Coverage and Complete Coverage* have been significantly extended in the following countries: • Namibia: +75% • Saudi Arabia: +6% • South Africa: +12% - The update features 1,593 towns and communities. - The option of being guided directly to the required house number is also available with this version (not full coverage): Coverage in Namibia has been improved by 1% and in South Africa by 2%. Points of interest (POI): Over 118,000 key points of interest are featured on the DVD, including Filling stations, Car parks, Museums, Restaurants and Hospitals. There are around 61,400 more POIs here than on the previous version. 7,285 Restaurants and 1,66 Hotels have been added to the new 2010 version. The navigation system can also, if required, show the user the quickest route to 84 Mercedes‐Benz service outlets.
