| This item is drop-in replacement speakers for the current C, GLC, E and S class vehicles with 4" speakers in the doors. They are component speakers (so have a separate tweeter) so you need to check your car has a tweeter location. In the front door (except on some coupes) this will be the door mirror triangle.
The speakers come with the wiring loom needed for cars without tweeters (as it is not pre-installed) and will improve the mid and high end (i.e voice) in the music or radio you listen to. These are a great replacement for standard or Burmeister speakers which - the standard Mercedes speakers are greatly cost reduced .. When installing we recommend you also install some Dynamat on the door card and on the inside (hidden) surface of the door to prevent rattles or the door acting similar to a drum at certain frequencies.
