| If you are replacing your North Amercian COMAND-APS system with a European/Rest-of-World COMAND system you need this adapter to make the reversing camera function. This lead is also used for upgrading from North american NTG2 to NTG 2.5 cars with reversing camera.
This is because the North American COMAND system is completely different to the rest of the world (Japan is different again) and will not work outside USA because map disks are not available and the radio frequency range / spacing can not be altered. |
