Fitting Kit for Aftermarket Stereo in R171 SLK class with NTG2.5

This is a fitting kit to install a single DIN or double DIN new stereo into an R171 SLK.

This kit is for Cars with Audio-20 or COMAND NTG2.5 (Fitted from the Model Year 2009 facelift) and without Harmon Kardon Sound System.

We have a different kit for newer cars.

This is a special order item and can take a few days to come into stock.

This enables the steering wheel buttons to work (volume, phone answer) when used with SWC capable stereo from Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, Clarion, JVC or Sony.

Please note that if your car does not have the phone system already then the steering wheel telephone controls will need enabling with Star Diagnosis diagnostic computer.

The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, handbrake, speed pulse and reverse gear outputs for the new stereo, most often used for Sat-Nav or Car Play / Android Auto units.
