This is a fitting kit to install a single DIN or double DIN new stereo into an early R230 SL. Please select whether your car has the Audio-30 or the COMAND 2.0 DX navigation system Please note that if you have BOSE you will need to replace the amplifier when fitting an aftermarket stereo This is a special order item and can take a few days to come into stock. This enables the steering wheel buttons to work (volume, phone answer) when used with SWC capable stereo from Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, Clarion, JVC or Sony. Please note that if your car does not have the phone system already then the steering wheel telephone controls will need enabling with Star Diagnosis diagnostic computer. The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, handbrake, speed pulse and reverse gear outputs for the new stereo, most often used for Sat-Nav or Car Play / Android Auto units. This is a special order item and can take a few days to come into stock.
