| When installing a new map on NTG4.5 (W204/R172 MY2011, W207/W212/W166 with SD card, onward) a PIN code is needed. It is the PIN code that is the licence for the map, thus preventing fraudulent repeat installation of a map disk on many vehicles.
This special order item is for the PIN code for Australia / New Zeland maps. You must purchase the map disk install set separately (which can be used on multiple cars, but the PIN is different for each car). You must put the VIN number and the exact description of the map version in the NOTES section on the order (at bottom of shopping cart page). We will then have the PIN code generated for you. The process may take a few days. The PIN code is tied to the vehicle VIN and to the exact map version. If you get the wrong VIN or map version, the PIN code will not work, and we will NOT be able to refund you as we will have already obtained the PIN code. We will send the PIN code via email and will not charge VAT for sales outside the European fiscal area. Please ensure you give us your correct valid email address and valid VIN number of the car. |
