*** This is ONLY for cars with Bluetooth built into the head unit, NTG4.5 or NTG5 AND with the UHI/Comfort Phone connector (386) in your armrest (or next to the cluster on Vito/Viano/Sprinter). It will not work with COMAND systems with DVD based maps (NTG1/NTG2), NTG3 or early NTG4.5 Media Interface or Audio-20 without inbuilt bluetooth **** When your iPhone 5/5S/6/6S is plugged into this cradle and the USB cable it charges and uses the cars external aerial. You then pair the phone with the head unit for Bluetooth functions. Note that this means that if your head unit doesn't already bluetooth to your telephone this cradle will not work for you even if you have the UHI/Comfort Phone functions, and if your iPhone 5/5S/6/6S already pairs but will not transfer the address book (W204 & R197 SLS) then it still won't transfer the address book. This is not suitable for the 6-Plus or 6S-Plus which is too big. Please check with us before ordering if you are unsure. This version comes with the interconnecting cable to connect to the cars USB in the armrest. It is possible to later change the cable to a micro-usb and use it with other phones - the micro-usb cable is NOT supplied. |
